Ingredients
- Salmon fillets x4 (Sustainably sourced if possible.)
- Honey 4 tbsp
- Soy Sauce 2 tbsp (Low-sodium if possible.)
- Quinoa 2 cup
- Broccoli 500 g (Fresh is best, but you can use frozen.)
Instructions
- First, prepare the honey glaze by mixing the honey and soy sauce in a bowl. Set this aside for later.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Once heated, add the salmon skin-side down and cook for around 4-5 minutes or until the skin is crispy. Then, flip the salmon and brush on the honey glaze. Cover the pan and let it cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- While the salmon is cooking, prepare the quinoa according to the package instructions.
- For the broccoli, bring a pot of water to a boil. Add the broccoli and steam until tender, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- To serve, evenly divide the quinoa onto four plates. Top with a salmon fillet, skin side down, and surround with the steamed broccoli. Drizzle any remaining honey glaze over the top of the salmon. Enjoy hot.
